Lauren's story begins in New Jersey and takes a dramatic turn when her family relocates to South Korea. At just three years old, Lauren was exposed to toxic chemicals from epoxy work in an apartment parking lot, triggering a severe case of eczema. Determined to find a cure, her father tried every recommended moisturizer, facing disappointment at every turn. Refusing to resort to steroid treatments due to their risks, he embarked on a relentless quest for a solution, laying the foundation for what would become Dear Lauren.

  • Lauren's father, while working on a pharmaceutical project, met an expert in Drug Delivery Systems (DDS). Realizing the potential for skincare innovation, he discovered that enhancing skin penetration and ingredient stability could revolutionize the industry. Inspired by this idea, he left his job and founded BILICO (Bio Life Company).
