The name

This is the bottle the line is named after.

RealE means exactly what it says: the vitamin E in this line is the real molecule — pure α-tocopherol, not the stable stand-in on almost every other label. And the ampoule is that idea at its most concentrated: one drop, twice a day, built around one of skincare's most unstable molecules, kept alive.

One house, two lines. Intensive repairs — dryness, roughness, reactive skin. RealE defends — a daily antioxidant routine built around that molecule. Four steps — the wash, the water, this concentrate, the seal. Why the real-versus-substitute difference matters is already sitting on your shelf. Go and look.

Check your label

Find vitamin E on your serum. It won't be vitamin E.

It will almost certainly read tocopheryl acetate — vitamin E rebuilt to survive the factory rather than to work on your skin. Roughly 5% of the antioxidant activity of the real molecule, and completely stable, which is the entire reason it exists.

Pure α-tocopherol runs at roughly 95% activity and oxidizes in weeks once it meets air. So the industry ships the substitute, and the front of the bottle still says vitamin E.

We seal the real thing inside a 200-nanometer capsule and ship it alive, at 99.8% purity. It costs more. It is the whole point of this ampoule.

What one drop carries

Three jobs, one dropper.

×19vs. the acetate

Pure vitamin E — α-tocopherol

19× the antioxidant activity of the acetate that usually stands in for it, at 99.8% purity, sealed in a triple-layered SNV™ capsule. Measured at 4.2× the delivery of un-encapsulated raw material in Franz-cell testing.

3:1:1barrier ratio

Ceramide, cholesterol, fatty acids

The proportions skin's own barrier lipids sit in. Getting the ratio right matters more than the quantity — the wrong balance can leave a barrier worse off than adding nothing.

3from the hive

Propolis, royal jelly, honey

The antioxidant trio that runs through the RealE line, with niacinamide and adenosine. It's also where the ampoule's honey-glow finish comes from.

Multiplier and purity figures per raw-material assay documentation. Delivery figure from Franz-cell permeation testing over 24 hours against the same active un-encapsulated.

At a glance

The ampoule itself, in six facts.

The argument is above. This is the bottle — one drop of it, twice a day.

Texture

Dense, then gone

It clings for a moment and then absorbs smoothly, with none of the oily film a concentrate usually leaves. The finish is a soft honey glow, not shine.

Key actives

Vitamin E · Bee trio

Pure vitamin E at 99.8% purity in its SNV™ capsule, with propolis, royal jelly and honey extracts — plus niacinamide, adenosine and barrier lipids at 3:1:1.

Registered

Dual-function, Korea

Reviewed and registered by Korea's MFDS as a dual-function cosmetic on niacinamide and adenosine. A Korean regulatory status, stated as fact — not a US claim.

Acidity

pH 5.5

The slightly acidic level healthy skin keeps for itself — every product in this line is built to the same number.

Size

32 ml dropper

One drop covers a face. The formula is thick, so press the bulb fully and release it slowly inside the bottle.

Where

Third, after toner

RealE order: cleanser, toner, ampoule, cream. The ampoule fills; the cream locks it in.

Dear Lauren RealE Ampoule
32 ml — one drop covers a face.
Measured, not claimed

Then we sent it to the lab.

Two efficacy studies at an independent institution, with instrument readings after a single application. Printed here with their conditions.

What was measuredReading
Skin barrier strength, after one use+264.86%
Visible redness, vs. untreated control+271.34%
Skin radiance, after one use+31.75%

ACE Skin Clinical Research Institute, Seoul. Radiance: 21 Korean adult women, Sep 2025 (53.67 → 67.60). Barrier and redness: 30 Korean adults, Sep 2025 — barrier 10.83 → 39.51, equivalent to a 3.7× reduction in water loss; redness expressed as improvement relative to an untreated control area. Percentages are relative changes from each subject's own baseline. These are hydration, barrier and appearance measurements — they are separate from, and not evidence for, the brightening and wrinkle-care registration referenced above. Figures describe measured skin condition in the cited studies; individual results vary. Cosmetic studies, not drug trials.

Reviews in Korea

Two of them. Both real.

This ampoule launched in Korea in January 2026, so there aren't many reviews yet — and we'd rather show you two honest ones than pad the space. Dear Lauren has 17,000+ reviews across its products and took the Forbes 2025 Best Brand Award for derma skincare in Korea.

"I tried it on one hand and left the other bare — the difference in how hydrated the treated side feels is obvious. I started out buying the children's lotion, and now I'm ordering for myself too. My old ampoule was running out right as this one launched, so the timing was perfect."

H.M. · ★★★★★ · verified purchase

"I got a sample of this when I bought the moisturizing cream. Once I'd used it I felt like it was doing real work on my hydration, so I went back and bought five bottles. I'll write more once I've been through them."

The price, itemized

We know every way to make this ampoule cheaper.

We declined them all. This is what you're paying for:

01

The real vitamin E, at 99.8%

The acetate costs a fraction, survives anything, and lets a label say vitamin E. Buying α-tocopherol at this purity — and keeping air away from it through the whole process — is the single largest cost in this bottle.

02

The delivery technology

SNV™ brings DDS — drug-delivery science, the medical engineering that moves fragile molecules intact — into a cosmetic. Almost no one else in skincare does this: not because of what it costs, but because very few can build it.

03

Registration, not just wording

In Korea, brightening and wrinkle-care claims have to be reviewed and registered by the regulator with named actives at set concentrations. Going through that is slower and more expensive than simply writing the words on a box.

The promise

We sell change, not ampoules.

Use it for 30 days. If the change doesn't reach your skin, we refund every dollar — no deadline, no questions.

Start your 30 days ↑
How is RealE different from the Intensive line?

Different jobs. Intensive is our barrier line — for dryness, roughness and reactive skin. RealE is the antioxidant line, built around keeping pure vitamin E alive on your skin, for tone and the look of ageing. If dryness is your main problem, start with Intensive.

Do I need the cream as well?

Not necessarily. The ampoule fills, the cream seals — on dry days or overnight, both is better. On a humid morning the ampoule alone is often enough.

Will it be greasy under makeup?

No. It's dense going on and absorbs cleanly; what's left is a soft glow rather than a film. Use one drop in the morning, more at night.

The dropper doesn't fill easily.

It's a thick concentrate. Press the bulb all the way down and release it slowly while the tip is still in the bottle — one drop is a full application.

Can sensitive skin use it?

It's formulated at pH 5.5 with panthenol and allantoin and has passed low-irritation testing. As with anything new, patch-test on the inner arm first.

What exactly is the refund policy?

Bought from an official Dear Lauren store, you're covered by a 100% money-back promise — anytime, not only the first 30 days. Write to cs@bilico.com with your order number.
