Surface hydration is easy to produce and easy to advertise. So the study didn't stop at the surface: after applying the toner, the outer layers of skin were lifted away one at a time with tape and moisture was measured again at each depth.
The reading was still substantially elevated ten layers down. That's the number worth having — not because it's the biggest one on the page, but because it's the one that couldn't have come from a wet surface.
Percentages below are relative changes in permittivity, which starts from a very low reading on dry skin — so a real gain prints as a very large percentage. We show the figures as they were measured and would rather explain them than let their size do the arguing.

Hyaluronic acid, from small to large
One molecular weight can only sit at one depth. Eight forms — the free acid, hydrolyzed fragments, sodium and potassium salts, an acetylated form and a cross-linked polymer — spread the load through the layers instead of pooling at the top.
Pure vitamin E — α-tocopherol
The real molecule at roughly 95% activity, not the ~5%-active acetate almost every label carries. It's unstable enough that a water-based toner normally can't hold it — which is what the SNV™ capsule is for.

How should I apply it?
Three ways, all correct: press it in with your palms; sweep it on with a cotton pad to lift what cleansing left behind; or soak a pad and leave it on for five to ten minutes when skin is especially dry.
The liquid looks slightly brown. Is that normal?
Yes. Propolis, honey and vitamin E are naturally that colour and there's no dye in the formula, so the shade can deepen a little over time.
Will it help with breakouts or dark spots?
No, and we won't say otherwise. This toner's job is hydration and pH balance. It is not a functional cosmetic and makes no brightening or anti-wrinkle claim.
Can sensitive skin use it daily?
Both patch studies above read 0.00, the second on skin screened as sensitive. As with anything new, patch-test on the inner arm first.
